Punjab

SPRING Association has built a strong grassroots presence in Punjab through its Transport Disability Discount Card initiative, which facilitated the registration of over 50,000 persons with disabilities (PWDs). In 2016, SPRING assisted NADRA by deploying NADRA Mobile Van (NMVs) for NIC registration and awareness campaigns in four tehsils of Rawalpindi District and two tehsils of Jhelum District. In 2017, SPRING’s Chairman was appointed as the Focal Person for Persons with Disabilities in Punjab by the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mal Department, where he effectively advocated for inclusive NIC and voter registration policies for PWDs. SPRING continues to lead monthly NIC and voter registration drives in the Rawalpindi Division, making Punjab a central focus of its advocacy and service efforts.

Sindh

In Sindh, SPRING extended its outreach to marginalized communities by facilitating the registration of 3,000 individuals, including 2,000 PWDs and 1,000 others. The organization’s awareness campaigns and community engagement have been instrumental in supporting inclusive governance and ensuring access to NIC and voter registration services for underserved populations. SPRING’s efforts in Sindh highlight its commitment to bridging the gap for PWDs in electoral participation and citizenship rights.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), SPRING successfully facilitated the registration of 1,500 persons with disabilities through focused outreach and advocacy initiatives. By directly engaging with local communities, SPRING has strengthened awareness about the importance of NICs and voter registration for PWDs. These activities in KP reflect SPRING’s broader mission of advancing disability rights and fostering inclusive governance across Pakistan.
